Softball - Girls Varsity - Kingswood Oxford

2023-2024 Softball – Girls Varsity

Athletics > Teams > Spring > Softball > 2023-2024 Softball – Girls Varsity

Wyvern softball competes in the most challenging leagues, the Founders League and NEPSAC. Despite this, the team has seen a variety of success, competing in seven postseason tournaments since 2006 and winning the championship in 2014. Our coaches stress the importance of fundamentals and strategic positioning at each practice and game, teaching the essential art of the game. Kingswood Oxford competes on a state-of-the-art artificial turf field on campus.

Nothing thrills Coach Jason Bradley more than watching his players evolve from the early stages of softball skills and techniques to seasoned players full of grit and determination. He believes in the fundamentals of the game, hard work, and team chemistry to build success at any level you play.

Coach Bradley looks for a player who will put the team above themselves. “Those types of players will thrive in a team I’m leading,” he said. “Any player will achieve their own personal goals at the highest level while putting the team first.”

During the course of the season, a player will experience a range of successes, challenges, and failures as they build bonds with other players and coaches. These experiences translate off the field into real-world situations and allow the player to handle their emotions to the best of their ability.

All Kingswood Oxford athletes have access to our 33-acre campus, with multiple playing fields, an artificial turf field, a multi-purpose fieldhouse, a yoga studio, and two fitness centers. Certified athletic trainers are on hand every day to ensure the health, well-being, and development of every student-athlete. Every team also reflects the school’s core values, demonstrating honesty, integrity, and respect, learning with passion, and caring beyond self.
