KO supports our family in many ways. I have four children in the school, and each one is very different that they could be considered from a different family. One loves arts. One is sporty. One is very studious. KO has all the range of options that we were looking for. The school has supported them academically and has challenged them. My children are engaged here, and the students around them have that same dedication to learning. They’re excited about science. They’re excited about math. KO sets a high bar for the kids. There are many smart, kind, brilliant, and outstanding students. That brings everyone up, right? It’s really special.
The advising system is very strong, especially when kids become teenagers and it becomes difficult to know what goes on in school. The advisor is a window onto their world. They have reached out to us when things were not perfect, and we valued that insight from each advisor.
We chose a day school because we wanted to have our family home together each night. It’s important that we keep family time, We love cooking and eating together and making those relaxed connections with one another. That’s when many conversations about the day and plans for the next day come together. You get a flavor of what’s happening by seeing it in their eyes and faces.
KO is an investment. That’s how I see it. It’s an investment in our kids, and it’s an investment in their lives. For us as a family, we see the benefits. We see our kids are happy, and that’s the most important thing.
