Sydney Smith ’21
Since joining the varsity volleyball team in her third form year, Sydney Smith ‘21 has had an incredible impact on the KO volleyball program.
Head coach Scott McDonald said, “Her commitment to improving her playing here at KO as well as with her club team in the offseason has helped Sydney to become one of the strongest offensive players we’ve ever had in the program.”
Assistant Coach Carolyn McKee said, “As co-captain, she leads by example with her fierce competitive spirit and her steadfast positive attitude. This will undoubtedly be another exciting season for KOVB as Sydney continues to lead our offense and help us compete against our toughest opponents.”

“Our season so far has been going very well!” said Smith. “We’ve all been working hard in practice and the team has the potential to be very successful this season. We’re hoping to make it to the postseason again, and I think that we can definitely achieve that goal!”
