Volleyball – Girls JV vs Worcester Academy – Home
JV Volleyball
JV Volleyball played a great match in front of an energized home crowd in Hewett Gym on Wednesday. Building off of the success of our last three matches, KO came out strong on the service line which challenged the passing of Worcester and made it hard for them to run their offense. Throughout this match, we continued to pass well to our setters, Julia Sohn ‘25 and Rachael Segal ‘28, who had numerous assists to strong offensive plays. KO established early leads in both games of the match, bolstered by aces from Lidia Martinez- Castro ‘27 (5 aces), Scarlett Bourgoin ‘27 (5 aces), Segal (4 aces), Sienna DuBois ‘26 (8 aces), and Layla Hall ‘27 (3 aces). Many of our hitters contributed to the offensive success for the day, including some great kills by Aliza Rashid ‘27, Aniajah Sanchez ‘28, Madison Brillant ‘28, Els Morris ‘25, Hall and Bourgoin. The team looks forward to traveling to Kent on Friday to take on what will likely be a strong Kent team.
