JV Volleyball

KO JV Volleyball came up a bit short in our second time competing against a tough Suffield Academy team. KO went into this match knowing that we would have to pass well off of Suffield’s strong serving. With serve receive passing a main feature of our practices leading up to the match, KO did a good job of passing overall on the day, yet struggled to serve in on our own service line and with hitting the ball in on offense. All other things being equal, as these two teams battled back and forth, it was those errors that led Suffield to win each of the two games by a few points. Standouts for KO included Lidia Martinez-Castro ‘27 with 7 aces and 4 kills as well as a single kill from Els Morris ‘25, Zil Desai ‘27, and Remi Rosado ‘28. KO looks forward to another home match this Friday 10/25 at 4:30 as we take on Miss Porters School in our annual Dig Pink match.
