Volleyball – Girls JV vs Pomfret School – Home
JV Volleyball
JV Volleyball had an outstanding showing in our Hewett Day match against Pomfret this past Friday. Running off of the positive momentum from our great match against Williston on Wednesday, the team was ready to lock in and work hard to compete. While KO continued to make strides with our offense in this match, the match was won on the service line. Lidia Martinez-Castro ‘27 started and finished the first game with multiple aces, while Aliza Rashid ‘27, Julia Sohn ‘25, Rachael Segal ‘28 added their own aces to keep KO in the lead throughout the match. KO’s offense was led by Layla Hall ‘27, Madison Brillant ‘28 and Sohn, who each had strong kills throughout the match. Our offense couldn’t have run as well as it did without the consistently solid passing of Libero, Scarlett Bourgoin ‘27. The team is excited to return to Hewett Gym for our next match vs. what will likely be a good Worcester Academy team.
