Volleyball – Girls JV vs Loomis Chaffee School – Away
JV Volleyball
KO JV Volleyball traveled to Loomis Chaffee School on Tuesday to play in their Dig Pink Game. From the start of the match it was clear that Loomis would be a tough opponent with solid serving and good offense. While KO had difficulty scoring points in the first and third games of this match, 12-25 and 5-25, KO’s second game showed how well KO can compete against a good team. Helped by aces from Lidia Martinez-Castro ‘27, Aniajah Sanchez ‘28, and Sienna DuBois ‘26, KO did a better job of challenging the Loomis serve receive. Offense in the second game was led by Madison Brillant ‘28, Layla Hall ‘27 and Scarlett Bourgoin ‘27. Martinez-Castro also had a momentous block against Loomis’s right side hitter. KO just came up short in the second game, finishing with a score of 23-25. The team is excited to compete again tomorrow for our Senior Day match against Choate in front of our home crowd in Hewett Gym.
