Volleyball – Girls JV vs Canterbury School – Away
JV Volleyball
KO JV Volleyball finished our season with a strong showing in New Milford CT as we took on the Canterbury Saints. After a disappointing match at Cheshire on Monday, KO was ready to put everything we had into this final match of the season. KO came out strong in the first game, establishing a lead early on and never looking back to finish 25-12. Game 2 was a beautiful demonstration of consistency on the service line as Remi Rosado ‘28 served 23 serves in a row (with 10 aces) to bring KO the win 25-1. It was a whole team effort to ensure that when Canterbury did return the ball, KO won the volley and earned the point. Other highlights from this match include: aces from Lidia Martinez-Castro ‘27 (9), Sienna DuBois ‘26 (3), and Julia Sohn ’25 (1). Kills were earned by Layla Hall ‘27 (3), Els Morris ‘25 (2), Scarlett Bourgoin ‘27 (1), and Zil Desai ‘27 (1). This was a great way for KO JV Volleyball to wrap up a successful season of learning to work together as a team and competing hard against some tough NEPSAC opponents.
