Varsity Boys’ Soccer vs Hopkins School – Away

The varsity soccer team played Hopkins and delivered with a huge 1-0 Win.
The boys played really well with a 1-0 lead going into the second half with a goal scored by Junior Grant Daigle with an assist by Senior captain Max Sams on a long ball from 50 yards out. The goal came 34 minutes in and the boys were able to hold that lead going into the half.
The boys held off the Hopkins 11 but started to fade around the 70th minute. Great tackles made by senior Rajan Patel to hold off a breakaway and a pull back from Captain Mac Louis which had a player skidding on the ground, ultimately leading to a ball down line to Grant.
After 90 minutes the boys came out with an impressive win giving them hope headed into a crucial saturday game against Wilbraham and Monson.
