JV Girls Tennis

JV Girls Tennis earned another win on Wednesday, defeating Miss Porter’s in a close series of matches, 5-2. Porter’s brought players that were well-matched with our Wyverns, leading to some wonderfully fun tennis to watch. Captain Clara Drag fought a long battle against Porter’s #1 singles player, in games that featured long rallies and, at one point, stood 7-7. Still, Clara endured and won 9-7. Francesca Lamattina and Lidia Martinez-Castro played a great doubles match, as did Anna Ollenschleger and Alyssa Tousignant. JV is now 3-2, with our next match on Saturday, on our courts against Westminster. Go, Wyverns!
