V Boys Tennis

In a match that was more competitive than the score indicates, we fell to a strong, deep Westy team. They seized the doubles point with convincing wins at #2 (8-2) and #3 (8-1). The #1 doubles was closely contested, as Westy prevailed 8-5 over Concepcion and Blair. The singles saw three of the six matches go to 3rd set super tiebreakers, with KO’s Pratt Blair winning the #2 match 7-5, 2-6, 11-9. Despite a terrific effort from both Will Maclean and Saahit Gaddipati at #3 and #5 respectively, KO dropped close tiebreakers (10-7 and 11-9). Westy earned convincing straight set wins at #1,4, and 6. Next up for KO is another tough match vs. Hotchkiss tomorrow in Lakeville, CT.
