Tennis – Boys Varsity vs Loomis Chaffee School – Away

Varsity Boys Tennis

We traveled to Loomis expecting a very close match, and that is exactly what happened. Loomis earned the doubles point with wins at #1 and #3, as the lone doubles win for KO came from Will Maclean and Neil Reddy at #2. They played their best doubles match of the season. So, we knew that the match was still very much up for grabs going into singles, and two of the matches went to a 3rd set tiebreaker. KO’s Saahit Gaddipati ’26 won a thrilling 12-10 super tiebreaker at #5, playing a terrific tiebreaker. At #1 singles, Ciaran Concepcion ’26 staved off 5 match points before falling 12-10 in a super tiebreaker. At #2 singles, Pratt Blair ’26 won in two close sets. Loomis was able to clinch the match with straight set victories at #3,4 and #6 as Will Maclean ’25, Neil Reddy ’28, and Jacob Barash ’25 gave it their best effort but it was not enough against their steady opponents. I am proud of how our kids competed and maintained their composure from start to finish. Next up is a home match against the always talented Choate squad.
