Tennis – Boys Varsity vs Hamden Hall Country Day School – Home

Varsity Boys Tennis

We opened the 2025 season with a solid win at home against Hamden Hall on a windy Tuesday afternoon. We played a no repeat format with four singles and three doubles matches, which allowed for each team to play 10 players. The four singles matches were played indoors, while the three doubles matches were outdoors. We got off to a strong start by taking the first set in each of the singles matches, as tri-captains Ciaran Concepcion (’26), Pratt Blair (’26) , and Will Maclean (’25) were able to earn straight sets victories. The doubles matches outside were all quite close, as KO’s Aryan Dange (’25) and Noah Sadowsky (’28) came back at #3 doubles to earn a 2-6, 6-3, 10-4 victory. At #2, Kiran Sekaran (’25) and Jacob Barash (’25) got off to a strong start and won 6-0, 6-4. To cap off the match, Saahit Gaddipati (’26) and Logan Barash (’28) earned a straight sets victory at #1 doubles. It was a good team effort all the way around for the Wyverns.
