Tennis – Boys Varsity vs Hamden Hall Country Day School – Away
Varsity Boys Tennis
On Tuesday afternoon, the boys V tennis traveled to Hamden Hall in our season opener in cold and windy conditions.
Both coaches decided to play singles first, and KO earned straight sets victories in each match. Captain Luke Riemann (‘19), Adam Na (‘21), Adam Sonntag (‘19), Max-William Kanz (‘22), Jacob Schwartz (‘21), and Teddy Keegan (‘22) earned victories at #1 thru #6 singles. Congrats to Schwartz and Keegan earned their first varsity victories. In doubles, Kanz and Keegan teamed up to win at #1 doubles, while Jaden Weinstein (‘21), and Andrew Holland (‘19) earned a victory at #2 doubles, and at #3 doubles seniors Michael Autorino (‘19) and Jack Gao (‘19) also earned their first vasrsity victory.
Next up is the 47th Annual Kingswood Invitational Tennis Tournament (K.I.T.T.), as we host a tournament filled with superb programs (Hotchkiss, Choate, Lawrenceville, Deerfield, Westminster, Groton, Hall High School).
