Swimming & Diving – MS vs Foote School – Away

MS Swimming

The middle school swimmers had their first meet of the season against Foote School at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven. Our medley relays had a solid performance, led by Anya, (bk), Charlotte (br), Jordan Veseskis (fly) and Connor Hudkins (free). Jordan finished 3rd in the 50 free with a time of 32.13. Many of our new swimmers (Liam, Bobby, Danni, Andrew, and Mallory) swam the 50 free for the first time. Anna Wildstein, Charlotte Gruber, and Connor Hudkins also swam the challenging 100 IM and did well. Charlotte and Georgia both challenged themselves with the 50 breaststroke while Ava was our lone 50 fly swimmer. We had strong performances in the 100 free by Anna, Jordan and Connor. Overall, this was not a numerical win for our KO swimmers, but it was a win in terms of spirit, effort, and hard work. Many swimmers, including Coraline, Derek, Kate, Madhuvanthi, and Annalisa, swam relays on our team for the first time. We also saw solid performances from Camila in both of the relays and Chadly, Delilah, and Anya in the 50 back. We want to congratulate all of our swimmers on their hard work and sportsmanship throughout the meet. We are looking forward to working on our starts, improving our times, and seeing the Foote team again at the end of the season at the Hamden Hall Invitational.
