On the gentlemen’s side, our Wyverns continued their domination of the pool.

In the 200-yard Medley Relay, Ethan Brown (’20), Kyle Zimmerman (’18), Ellis Winfree (’19) and co-captain Harry Krause (’18) took first place, going 1:52.47. Not to be outdone, however, our B relay took second place. This team consisted of Ben Zamstein (’20), Marwynn Somridhivej (’20), Kian Issari (’18) and Carter Castanza (’18). They finished with a time of 1:58.26. Eden Nenshati (’21), Owen Chambers (’21), Walter Kraus (’21) and co-captain Kevin Augustine (’18) comprised our C relay in the same event, taking fourth place, going 2:10.26. Brown easily won the 200-yard Free with a time of 1:51.28, a full six seconds ahead of the Canterbury second-place finisher. Nick Traver (’20) took fourth place in the same event, going 1:59.76, breaking the all-elusive 2-minute mark in the event. Co-captain Jaron Stake (’18) took fifth, with a finishing time of 2:03.59. Winfree took first in the all-out sprint 50-yard Freestyle, going :24.07, Krause grabbed fourth at :24.99, and Castanza grabbed fifth, posting a time of :25.28. In the 1-meter springboard diving, Ely Brandt (’23) won the entire event, and he finished with a final score of 184.50 points, and Castanza took second place, posting a final score of 165.75 points. Winfree grabbed second in the 100-yard Fly, going :58.55, finishing under the all-important 1-minute mark in the event. Issari took third (1:02.95), and Felix Fei (’21) grabbed fifth at 1:05.12. Tim Petit (’18) had his hands full in the 100-yard Free, but he managed to squeak out a first place, going :50.24, a mere .12 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Traver took fourth (:54.66) and Krause took fifth, going :55.40. It was a very fast race, with the top five finishers all going under a minute for the event. Brown steamrolled through the 500-yard Freestyle, going 4:55.85, again going under the 5-minute mark for the event, and Stake took fourth with a time of 5:40.62. Traver, Issari, Zimmerman and Brown grabbed first in the 200-yard Freestyle relay, with a winning time of 1:35.49, and Fei, Castanza, Stake and Kraus took fourth, posting a finishing time of 1:47.04. Zamstein took second in the 100-yard Backstroke, going 1:08.36, and Issari finshed in fourth, with a time of 1:11.58. Zimmerman took first in the 100-yard Breaststroke, beating out the second place swimmer from Canterbury by a mere 1.44 seconds, and Somridhivej took fourth in the event, with a time of 1:16.57. In the final event, the 4 x 100-yard Freestyle relay, our Gentlemen grabbed second place, with a finishing time of 3:32.04, and our B relay took third, going 3:56.95 to finish the meet. The boys swam a great meet and demonstrated a lot of team spirit. Well done, Gentlemen!
