KO Boys’ Swimming was back in action last weekend to take on Avon Old Farms at Loomis Chaffee.

While there were some close races, the Wyverns swam strong defeating the Winged Beavers 96-85. Standout performances by Nick Traver ‘20 and Ben Zamstein ‘20 helped secure the lead over Avon. Traver finished first the 200 meter freestyle (2:12.7) and the 100 meter freestyle (59.2). Zamstein took an early lead in the 400 meter freestyle, finishing first with a time of 4:58.4. Senior Ellis Winfree ‘19 took home another first place finish in the 50 meter freestyle with a time of 25.9. The Wyverns will travel on Wednesday to take on the Suffield Tigers.
