Girls Varsity Squash

The KO Girls Varsity Squash team had a hard fought loss against Loomis Chaffee (5-2) at home for our last game before winter break. In the #2 spot, Valerie Perkins ’29 had a powerful performance, taking control of the points with her precise drives before bringing in solid volleys and drops to end the points (3-0). In the #1 spot, Ava Marseglia ’26 had a good show of consistency and long-point strategy against an opponent with strong defensive and retrieval skills (3-1). In the #3 spot, co-captain Ella Chen ’25 strung together spectacular points starting with excellent deep returns on both sides of the court (0-3). Clara Toomey ’27 had great court coverage and well struck volleys in the #5 spot (0-3), and Racheal Segal ’28 put immense pressure on her opponent with her well-struck serves and high drives to the back of the court. We’re looking forward to taking Millbrook next, after the New Year!
