Varsity Girls Squash

The KO Girls Varsity Squash team had a fantastic showing for our Senior Day, celebrating our senior co-captains Ella Chen, Alyssa Tousignant, and our senior manager Leslie Yan. After a brief ceremony and picture. The team played hard and won the match 5-2 against Greens Farms Academy, with GFA missing some players and having to default a few matches. In the no. 5 spot, Sanya Sadiq ’26 used well-placed serves off the side wall and carefully struck cross courts to the corners to win her match 3-0. Co-captain Ella Chen ’25 strung together spectacular points using all four corners of the court in the no. 3 spot. In the no. 6 spot, co-captain Alyssa Tousignant ’25 put her clever squash strategy on display, using boasts, lobbed straight drives, and hard hit volleys. Valerie Perkins ’29 and Ava Marseglia ’26 put together powerhouse performances in the no. 2 and no. 1 spots, winning 3-0 and countering all of the attacks sent their way by their opponents. Throughout the match, senior manager Leslie Yan collected the scores and led the cheering section with her unmatched team spirit. Congratulations, squash seniors!
