JV Girls Squash

The KO Girls JV Squash team had a 6-1 loss to Suffield, with some great matches in the individual head to heads. In the no. 5 and no. 6 positions, Riya Sekaran ‘28 and Delilah Mathews ‘28 showed how well they’ve developed their volleys on the return, and were able to use deep cross court shots to strategically move their opponents. Arcadia Yu ‘27, playing in both the no. 4 spot and the no. 8 exhibition, was ready to fire forehands back at her opponent, and had a solid 2-0 win in the exhibition match. The match of the day was in the no. 2 spot, where Addisen Nicholson ‘25 adjusted her high-flying serve and straight drives to come back from a 1-0 deficit and win 3-1 against an experienced opponent. In the no. 7 position, Ella Wang ‘27 produced some great racquet speed to send her opponent running after her returns.
