Girls JV Squash
Despite missing several players from the top of the ladder, the KO Girls JV Squash team put up a valiant fight against the Loomis Chaffee Pelicans.
The girls played with intensity and focus, and battled fiercely until the very end. Ely Alleyne ‘23 showed her mental toughness and resilience as she chased down every ball and refused to give up, fighting her way to the fifth tie-breaker game. Mai Lin Pomp-Shine ‘20 proved her mental toughness in her intense five game match. However, in the end, she overwhelmed her opponent with her relentless speed and determination winning the fifth game with a decisive score of 11-1. Esha Kataria ‘20, Amrita Natarajan ‘22 and Shreeya Chalikonda ‘21 all did a great job applying what they’ve been working on all season, hitting strong drives to the back and playing with speed and intensity.
