Squash – Girls JV vs Hopkins School – Away

JV Girls Squash

The KO Girls JV Squash team faced a strong opponent in Hopkins, putting together some great displays of the team’s progress in a tough 7-0 loss. With some players missing due to sickness, everyone played up a position on the ladder and really dug into that challenge gracefully. In the no. 1 spot, Addisen Nicholson ‘25 produced more and more aggressive returns and found the right balance of power and high angles in her swing to move her opponent to the back of the court. In the no. 2 spot, Arcadia Yu ‘27 was covering all four corners of the court with determination, putting together some fantastic rallies by flipping defense into offense mid-point. Delilah Mathews ‘28 used her sweeping cross courts in the no. 3 spot to move her opponent side to side in a relentless back-and-forth battle. In the no. 4 spot, Ella Wang ‘27 focused on stepping into her returns to take control of the “T” and win the smaller points within each point.
