Squash – Girls JV vs Choate Rosemary Hall – Away

JV Girls Squash

The KO JV Girls Squash team had our second match of the season against Choate Rosemary Hall, with our best performance so far in terms of the skill level demonstrated by each player and the quality of the points between teams. In the no. 1 spot, Aliza Rashid ’27 (coming down from varsity) had a great comeback against her opponent, and used quick racquet preparation and strong serves to attack the ball early and thoroughly into the back corners. In the no. 3 spot, Addisen Nicholson ’25 showed great “squash IQ” with her anticipation of her opponent’s shots, and used her reliable forehand to move her opponent out of position again and again. In the no. 5 spot, Arcadia Yu ’27 had powerful forehand swings that gave her the advantage and put her opponent on the back foot, and in the no. 6 spot Delilah Mathews ’28 was ready to fire cross courts left and right against an unsuspecting opponent. The team is really building our skills in all elements of their squash game, and this was a great test of that progress!
