KO suffered its first loss of the season to Ethel Walker 5-1 on Wednesday.

The offense for Ethel Walker was helped by a couple defensive miscues by the KO defense early helping them jump out to a 3-0 lead. They jumped out to a 5-0 lead on a HR by Ethel Walker’s Sara Fallon 19′. Kingswood had opportunities to score in the 3rd and 5th innings, they managed to push a run across the plate in the top of sixth inning with McMahon leading off with a double, moving to 3rd on a pass ball and scoring on a Jackson-Sherman 18′ sac fly. Overall the KO offense scattered 7 hits and the offense was building momentum late in the game but ran out of time. Kingswood looks to bounce back in the win column Saturday vs Cheshire Academy.
