Kingswood Oxford entered their tilt with Cheshire Academy with two consecutive wins but they’ll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cheshire Academy Cats by a score of 6-2 on Thursday. For Kingswood Oxford, this counts as revenge for the as Cheshire has defeated KO each time since 2019.

Offensively, Reminisce Rosado ’28 and Olivia Raccio ’28 did most of the damage at the plate: Rosado ’28 went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI, while Raccio ’28 scored a run while going 3-for-4. Lily Evans ’29 was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Alexis Nisyrios ’27 On the mound, she didn’t allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched.

Kingswood Oxford’s victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Kingswood Oxford will challenge Kent School at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kingswood Oxford is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they’ve averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
