Kingswood Oxford came tearing into Saturday’s game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.6 runs) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Canterbury School Saints as they made off with a 14-1 win.
Offensive Standouts, Olivia Raccio ’28 and Olivia Gallup ’25 did most of the damage at the plate: Raccio ’28 scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2, while Gallup ’25 scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was Aniajah Sanchez ‘ 28, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all two of her plate appearances.
Kingswood Oxford’s victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
Kingswood Oxford will stay at home for another game and welcome Worcester Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
