V Girls Soccer

The KO girls soccer team came out victorious over a scrappy Hopkins team 2-1. Loren Roca opened up the scoring in the first half. She received a through ball from Liv Schaller and cleanly chipped it over the goalkeeper for a 1-0 lead. Hopkins tied the score before halftime for a 1-1 tie. This score lasted until about 4 minutes left when KO scored off a scrum in front of the net with Delila Malz and Ella Golino there to push the ball through. The defense kept Hopkins without shot after the goal solidifying the team’s 3rd win of the year. KO plays at Hotchkiss on Saturday in a Founder’s League game.
