V Girls Soccer

The KO girls played their best game of the season despite getting a loss. The girls seized control of the game from the start but could not find the back of the net. Cheshire Academy scored in the waning minutes of the first half on their first shot on goal securing a 1-0 halftime lead. Liv Schaller scored a great goal with 20 minutes left in the game, overpowering the defender to knock the ball in. However, with 10 minutes left, a questionable foul was called on KO giving Cheshire Academy a penalty kick which was converted. KO could not score despite multiple attempts late in the game. KO will host Kent on Wednesday for their next game.
