Soccer – Boys Varsity vs Trinity-Pawling School – Away
V Boys Soccer
The Kingswood boys soccer team traveled to Trinity-Pawling in NY, for a hard fought 90 minutes. KO started off the game with a high intensity creating several opportunities to threaten the Trinity-Pawling goal. The first half saw KO completely dominate, but ended in a standstill regardless of Kingswood possessing the ball well and keeping TP in there own half.
Once the second half whistle blew, the boys had to make a stand. Within 5 minutes, Tadhg Dillow created some space in the offensive third and delivered a crisp cross to Corey Nguyen to burry it in the goal.
Then a few minutes later, Arman Dedina broke through in the midfield to send a cross towards Tadhg Dillow who deflected the ball into the goal to make it 2-0 to KO.
KO kept battling hard the rest of the second half, going in hard for every 50/50 and keeping a positive attitude. Then in the 70th, Trinity-Pawling had an opportunity off of a free kick and the ball fell kindly against the run if play and they made it 2-1 with their only real chance of the game. But the KO boys kept their composure and Connor Morris was able to score his first Varsity goal of his career, skillfully guiding the ball in from close range after a perfect set-piece cross from Pratt Blair, to win the game comfortably 3-1 on the road.
