Soccer – Boys Varsity vs Choate Rosemary Hall – Away
Varsity Boys Soccer
KO Boys’ Varsity traveled to Choate on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon.
KO, coming into the matchup undefeated in the last four games, knew it would be tough facing an extremely talented team filled with international players.
After some early exchanges and sustained pressure from the opposition, KO found themselves 2-0 down early in the first half.
Despite the early deficit, KO kept working and created a couple of good opportunities with Alex Oliviera and Arman Dedina finding their way in behind the Choate defense.
Unfortunately, KO was unable to find a goal, and then with the final kick of the first half, Choate would find a third goal to put them in control.
In the second half, KO continued to work hard but the quality and depth of the opposition was clear to see. So utilizing the opportunity to ensure everyone on the roster got valuable minutes against a very good side, all traveling KO players were given significant time and everyone represented KO well, despite the home team taking the win with a 6-0 final score.
