Soccer – Boys Varsity vs Canterbury School – Away

V Boys Soccer

Kingswood faced Canterbury away today and came away with a 4-0 victory. Once the whistle blew Kingswood was going hard for every ball and keeping the pressure on Canterburys back line. In the 23rd minute, off of a beautiful pass from Corey Nguyen, Tadhg Dillow scored the opening goal.
Then, following some sustained pressure toward the end of the first half, winger Charlie Levin scored to put KO 2-0 up at half-time.
The second half started off strong with the boys fighting hard to maintain possession. And in the 70th minute, Corey Nguyen took a quick free kick to send Armaan Dedania clear through on goal for a beautiful finish after rounding the goalkeeper to make it 3-0. Finally, in the 85th minute, Bennett Smith scored his first career goal after some incredible work and strength in front of goal; which finished the game with a 4-0 win and capped off a tremendous all round team effort on the road.
