JV Boys Soccer

The Boys JV Soccer team hosted Hopkins School on Nov. 3 hoping to extend their winning streak from the previous week, but fell short losing 0:2.

The boys started well executing several set formations the team had practiced, but could not find the net from the wide crosses.  Then, about midway through the first half, Hopkins scored on an innocent play getting a lucky bounce into the goal.  In the second half, both teams played a very even game, but neither team was able to create chances due to each team’s strong defensive plays.  With about 15 min left, the visiting team was able to take advantage of our defensive lapse inside the box and scored the final goal of the game.  The team has the weekend off, but will be playing their last game of the season against Williston Northampton School on Wednesday at 2:45.  Please, come to support them!
