V Girls Lacrosse

After an hour bus drive out to Wooster School, we knew we had to be intentional about starting the game with high energy. Even with fewer numbers we were competitive off the draws, winning possession nearly every time. Wooster gained momentum in the second half of the first quarter and both teams were tied 3-3. KO continued to fight, working to keep possession in the attack. The girls played smart, executing beautiful ball movement as they scored 4 times in the second quarter. From there, KO maintained the lead, even settling the ball enough to get creative on the attacking end. Notably, after emphasizing the importance of taking shots on goal during practice, 8 players on our team went to goal throughout the game. The result of which was KO bringing home a 14-5 win.
