V Girls Lacrosse

The varsity girls lacrosse team opened the season down in Greenwich where they took on the tigers of GCDS. The wyverns faced a tough opponent in the tigers who took the win by a score of 15-2. Even though we got down fairly quickly the effort on the field and the energy off the field never waned. Everyone had time on the field as it was a good opportunity to get game experience against a strong team. Games like these can only help us get better. We celebrated one another’s successes on the field which is what being on a team is all about. The score doesn’t reflect the way our players tried new things, got out of their comfort zones and kept a positive attitude and supportive environment on and off the field.
