V Girls Lacrosse

The varsity girls lacrosse team took on the wildcats of Ethel Walkers for the second time this season. Similar to the first game it was a close contest throughout but on this day the wyverns struck first scoring the first two goals of the game and taking a 3-1 lead into the second quarter. KO held a 3-2 lead at the half but at the end of the third quarter the game was tied at 4. Our wyverns gave their best effort but couldn’t pull out the win falling 5-7 to the wildcats. The performance from our players was impressive considering they played a hard game the day before and we were down in the number of players available to play. Every player today whether she was on the field or on the sidelines had a positive impact on this game.
