Lacrosse – Girls JV vs Taft School – Home

JV Girls Lacrosse

Our first game on grass gave the girls jv lacrosse team some unique new challenges.

It took a little while to adjust but by t he second half every one was scooping up ground balls for possession with extreme precision. It was a well fought game and the winner was unclear until the last 10 minutes of the second half. Our high scorer today was Jamie Scarapintino ’20 with three goals!   Remy McCoy’20 and Cami Forslund’21 also contributed a goal. The offensive highlight of the game definitely goes to Catherine Daniels’21. Catherine made a beautiful cut during one of our set plays and while on the run placed a beautiful shot in to the upper right hand corner of the net. Our attack and midfield made it difficult for Taft to make progression down the field and our defense did a fantastic job protecting our goalies. Molly Carrol’21 and Cai Kuvali’20 both had two saves each. The final score was 6-4 making the JV girls lacrosse program 3-0!
