Lacrosse – Boys Varsity vs Marianapolis Preparatory School – Away
Varsity Boys Lacrosse
In a tough road matchup against Marianapolis, our Kingswood Oxford squad showed grit, determination, and heart despite falling short with a final score of 4-6. With a few key injuries limiting our roster, our boys rose to the challenge and battled every step of the way.
We came out strong in the first quarter, setting the tone early with goals from Landon Thomas and Ryan Munz to grab a quick lead. The energy and focus were exactly what we’ve been striving for. However, Marianapolis responded well, capitalizing on a few key possessions and pulling ahead to a 5-2 lead at halftime.
Despite the setback, our team never wavered. In the second half, Colton Zahner added another goal with his usual intensity, and Nico Seymour found the back of the net with a great finish that gave us a spark. Our defense stepped up in a big way to slow Marianapolis down, and the entire team played with heart through the final whistle.
This game showed just how resilient and competitive this group is, and we’ll carry that fire into our next challenge.
