Despite trailing 4-1 in the 1st period KO Rallied in the 2nd and 3rd periods to get back in the game only to come up a little short 5-4.
KO Started the scoring when Dom Powlillitas ‘22 (Watkinson) found the net on a rebound after a Colin Regan ‘18 shot (assist) to put KO up 1-0. Hamden hall scored 4 consecutive goals until KO scored again with a 1:30 left when Colin Regan ‘18 would skate through 3 Hamden Hall defenders and beat the Dragons goaltender to bring the wyvern to 4-2. Will Elliott ‘21 brought KO to 4-3 on an unassisted goal early on in the 2nd period. The score would remained the same until early in the 3rd period when Hamden Hall would take advantage of a KO penalty and convert on the powerplay to put the Dragons up 5-3. KO continued to battle though and capitalized on their own powerplay opportunity with 10 minutes to play on a Garth Swanson ‘19 goal , assisted by Keifer Jaffee ‘21 (Watkinson) and Colin Regan ‘18. Despite the Wyverns efforts and an in zone face off with :03 seconds to play, the KO Skaters fell sort. Abby Fernald ‘21 tended goal for KO posting 21 saves. KO outshot Hamden Hall 33-26.
