Football – Boys MS vs Hamden Hall Country Day School – Away

MS Football

The Middle School Football team defeated Hamden Hall in a rainy away game Wednesday.

As always, the group played well on both sides of the ball pushing their record to 3-0 with a 16-6 win. It was a solid team effort as Coach Kocay once again got every single player in on the action. The team was led on the defensive side by Owen Caliguiri (Form II), Scott Taylor (Form II) and Boden Swanson (Form I) who each came up with hard-hitting sacks. Additionally, Carter Dyreson (Form II) snagged an interception. On the offensive side of the ball, Dyreson and Adam Merritt (Form II) had rushing touchdowns and Matt DeFillipo contributed with a long run. Their next matchup is next Wednesday where they will take on the same Hamden Hall squad at home.
