Field Hockey – Girls Varsity vs Wilbraham & Monson Academy – Away

KOFH came together as a team on a beautiful fall afternoon with a strong team victory at WMA. Captain Emma Barringer earned the first goal of the game with her tenacity in the circle, followed by Kate Dempsey – Weiner with a beautiful goal giving the Wyverns a 2-0 lead after the first quarter. Ella Wilson was hungry for a goal in the second quarter after many close attempts, Ella Wilson scored her first goal of the season giving KOFH a 3-0 lead at halftime. Ella didn’t stop there and scored her second goal of the season in the 3rd quarter. To finish the game strong Camryn Weinstein scored her first goal of the season followed by Taylor Benavides with her first goal. Stella Zimmer and Jane Morris split time in the cage earning a collective shutout. Every single member of the team saw playing time today, it was truly a team victory! We will carry this momentum with us into Hewett Day on Saturday! Go Wyverns!!!
