Field Hockey – Girls Varsity vs Marianapolis Preparatory School – Home
Win 2-0
On a beautiful and chilly November afternoon the sun started shining and KOFH came to play hungry for a win. KOFH started strong and dominated position through the first quarter with many opportunities and close attempts at getting on the board leaving it 0-0 after the first. KOFH came into the second quarter even more composed and hungry for a goal. Marin Baker ‘27 back on the field from an injury made her presence known as she scored her first career goal off an assist from Alexa Wolf ‘25. KOFH continued to dominate possession making smart passes and connections. Giving us the 1-0 at half time. Heading into the third quarter KOFH continued to put our heart and hustle on the field, Camryn Weinstein ‘25 used her speed and made some incredible breakaways down the field and KOFH was ready for another goal. Marin Baker ‘27 sent a beautiful cross into the circle and Hana Haxhaj ‘24 hungry and determined had her stick down and found the corner of the goal beautifully. All Wyverns saw playing time today, Stella Zimmer ‘25 and Jane Morris ‘26 split time in net earning the collective shutout. KOFH will use this momentum to carry us to Senior Day on Saturday! Go Wyverns!!!
