Field Hockey – Girls MS vs Foote School – Home
MS Field Hockey
The KO middle school field hockey team took on Foote for a second time this time at home.
KO immediately was on offense forcing the ball into Foote’s defensive circle. Foote’s defense held strong until midway through the first half when KO took the ball wide on a fast break. Allegra Kotowitz ‘23 passed to Olivia Gordon ‘24 who dished the ball quickly to Jordan DiMauro ‘23 who shot the ball past the Foote goalie for the 1-0 lead. This momentum continued with Hadley Crowther ‘25 passing to DiMauro again for the 2-0 lead heading into halftime. The second half continued much of the same with KO pressuring Foote’s defense. Lia Arnold ‘25 carried the ball into the circle passing to Crowther to Gordon for her first goal of the afternoon. KO topped off their scoring with Alex Arnold ‘23 passing to DiMauro totally the fourth goal. Ysabel Albert ‘25 had one shot and one save on goal for the game. Zora de Rham ‘23 played strong defense keeping Foote from getting past the 50 yard line. Meredith Decker ‘25, Macey Kotowitz ‘25 and Caitlin Dale ‘23 also played very smart moving the ball to space and making smart, quick passes. Overall it was another stellar game for the MS field hockey team. Their next game is Saturday morning, 10/20 at Renbrook.
