Cross Country – Boys Varsity vs Westminster School – Away

Boys Cross Country

Kingswood Oxford Boys Cross Country placed 9th out of 10 teams at the Miller Invitational at Westminster School.

The boys ran on a tough, hilly course for the second competition of the season. In the varsity race, our fastest runner was 3rd former Kevin Graziosi in 37th place with a time of 20:43. He was followed by Ethan Pinkes (form 5)  in 40th place, captain Thomas Betts (form 6) in 53rd place and Will Burstein (form 5 and coming off of an injury) in 60th place. The final finishers for KO were Elan Stadelman (form 5 in 67th), Sam Mazo (form 6 in 68th), and Harris Jacobson (form 6 in 69th).


JV boys were 11th out of 11 teams. For many of them, this was their first race. Fastest on the KO squad was 3rd former Sam Merkatz (98th place with a time of 25:03). He was followed by 3rd former Justin Rios (110th), 4th former Braeden Rose (130th), 3rd former Marrich Somridhivej (134th), and 3rd fromer Shumayl Shiek Syed (138th).
