V Girls Basketball

The varsity girls basketball team faced a tough Millbrook squad in a late day game at home. The mustangs went home with a 67-43 win. The wyverns came out and took a quick lead but the mustangs realized they needed to step up their game which they did with aggressive full court defense. The mustangs took a 15 point lead into halftime. Our wyverns came back and got to within 11 points with just under 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, but the mustangs pulled away again. As always our wyverns never gave up as all 11 players gave their best effort when they were on the court.
