Basketball – Girls MS B vs Ethel Walker School – Away
MS Girls B Basketball
The girls found their stride in the second half of the game and played with heart and drive.
They adjusted defenses and offenses in response to a larger more experienced team. Claire Mastella and Jillian Alexander were steady in the paint and made some big moves both offensively and defensively. Hana Haxhaj was a top rebounder. Macey Kotowitz and Margaret Miller did an excellent job leading the team at the point. Madison Bromberg and Kelly Stepnowski both had 4 points, our leading scorers. Margaret Miller made a foul shot to energize the team, while Addisen Nicholson’s attempts to drive to the hoop also helped lead the team to be more aggressive. Ava Cashman and Sophia Radmonovish improved both their defense and offense immensely as they are gaining experience in game situations. As the only 8th grader at the game, Madi Oh’s experience was much needed on the court as she gave the team calm determination.
