Girls MS A Basketball

The MS Girls’ A Basketball team lost to Rumsey Hall on Jan. 10 with a score of 16-24 despite a solid team effort.

KO came out strong in the first five minutes and played with both heart and hustle. The girls were moving the ball better than they have all season. Overall, the first half was a hard fought defensive battle. Rumsey had several tall posts who were able to put up quite a few points in the paint. Jordan DiMauro ‘23 was ruthless on defense and Lindsay Bailey ‘22 took on their most talented player for a majority of the game. At halftime the score was 9-17, with KO trailing. Alex Arnold ‘23 shot 100% from the free-throw line. Natalia Correa ‘22 was a leader on the court, scoring nine points for the Wyverns. Kyra Dunnirvine ‘23 was not afraid to take it to the basket and was rewarded with two points for her efforts.
