Girls MS A Basketball

The girls MS A basketball team traveled to Renbrook on Wednesday 1/24 for their fourth game of the season.

This was a competitive game from the initial tipoff. The girls played a settled offense and were competitive and scrappy on defense. The Wyverns were up 18-15 at the half. After a trying third quarter they trailed 20-22. The fourth quarter was a battlefield. The KO girls went on a six point streak and were able to pull ahead securing the victory. They emerged victorious with a 26-22 win over Renbrook. Natalia Correa ‘22 lead the team in scoring with an impressive11 points. Jordan DiMauro ‘23 was a threat on offense as well as defense. She scored five points for the team. Both Lindsay Bailey ‘22 and Kyra Dunnervine ‘23 put up four points for the Wyverns.  Alex Arnold ‘23 and Quinn Kearney ‘23 came up with many crucial rebounds for the team. The girls are preparing for their next game against Hopkins School on Wednesday, February 14th.
