MS Girls “A” Basketball

The Wyverns woke up Wednesday morning prepared for battle with Hilltoppers of Hopkins, only to find out that a different opponent awaited. The team welcomed their toughest competition this season, the St. Timothy Tigers, to Hewett Gymnasium for a heated battle. After jumping out of the gate quickly, the Wyverns took command of the game, forcing turnovers and creating opportunities on the defensive end. The Tigers fought back and cut the game to a single possession with minutes remaining. The Wyverns were able to create enough opportunities and defensive stops to get the hard fought win! It was a well-rounded team effort. Congratulations to both teams for a fantastic afternoon of great basketball.
