JV Girls Basketball

KO had a tough game against a tough opponent in Ethel Walker on Wednesday. Both teams started slow and the score at the end of the first quarter was 3-2. Ethel Walker jumped out to a lead in the second quarter and KO couldn’t close the gap. Lei Gonzalez’s speed and energy led the team to make a late push, but Ethel Walker’s lead was too much to overcome. The team is back at it next Friday against Westminster, whom they lost to by one point a month ago.
