KO traveled to Choate and won a hard fought game 7-6, with the lead going back and forth several times.
KO scored first when Jack Marshall ’20 singled in two runs in the second inning. Trailing 6-4 in the fifth inning the Wyverns scored 3 runs to take the lead 7-6, Mark Place ’18 singled with 2 outs to drive in two runs. Place had 3 hits and 3 RBI, and Jimmy DiVirgilio ’18 added two hits including a triple to lead the offense. Nick Cannata ’20 pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings in relief, striking out six to get the win.
